Types
The following definitions should be used to define which specific 'type' is called for in this template.
- lang
- A: Use this for a series of identical wiki sites which have multiple (separate) instances for each language, on the same primary domain, such as Wikipedia, Wikiversity, openSUSE, WikiMANNia, Wikivoyage, etc.
- B: This can also be used for wiki sites named the same, but are available in different languages and are located at different (unrelated) domain URLs, such as Uncyclopedia.
- name
- Use this where multiple wiki sites have the exact same primary name, and are written in the same language, but are located at different domains: either by different wiki farms (maybe as a result of a fork from Wikia), or different independent domains.
- both
- Use this to cover both occurrences of the above; ie., when multiple instances of the same wiki site are available in different languages, AND where there are multiple versions of the same language.
