WikiApiary talk:Mailing lists

From WikiApiary, monitoring the MediaWiki universe

Shall we create an IRC channel too? Leucosticte (talk) 14:22, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Actually there is already one at #wikiapiary. :) Hmm ... I thought this was documented here somehow somewhere. Will have a look. Cheers --[[kgh]] (talk) 19:34, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Listbox no longer functional

Looks like the listbox account is suspended or locked. I tried to send an email but it was rejected:

550 5.1.1 <wikiapiary@listbox.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table

Archives aren't working neither. It's a paid service, so did someone forgot to pay the bill? :) --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) 19:17, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

Oops, I forgot to update the info page. In August it moved to wikimedia.org. I believe the archives of the precursing Mailman instance as well as the one at listbox are lost. So we are havening a fresh start now. --[[kgh]] (talk) 21:43, 19 February 2017 (UTC) PS Listbox was a pretty strange service and I am happy that the list moved away from it.
I didn't get a notification about the list, and I wasn't populated on it, so I guess User:MarkAHershberger didn't automatically populate the list, or my subscription email got lost in the spam folder... I'm subscribed now --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) 20:52, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
Hmm, I am not sure if I am on the list either. Will have a look now. Cheers --[[kgh]] (talk) 21:59, 20 February 2017 (UTC) Edit: Obviously I was not but now I am. Thanks for the note!
