Note: ShoutWiki, founded in 2007, is a British wiki company, officially listed as ShoutWiki Limited, from England in the United Kingdom (UK), which provides a MediaWiki wiki farm.
Unlike many other wiki farms, ShoutWiki offers additional available functions compared to a standard MediaWiki installation. One notable example is social tools - features like user profiles, boards, friending and foeing, gifts, awards, and so on - which can be used to enhance the wiki experience and make editing more fun and appealing. As of early 2022, ShoutWiki is available with the option of fifteen (15) skins, with some skins created and / or adapted by ShoutWiki members.
ShoutWiki staff include highly experienced MediaWiki developers, and ShoutWiki have created many of their own unique extensions which add to or enhance the core MediaWiki software.
