WikiApiary:MediaWiki Extension

This page is a stub to place ideas for a potential MediaWiki extension that could be installed in a remote wiki to collect more advanced information for WikiApiary.

Some potential items to retrieve:

• List of namespace along with a page count in each one. (Page counts by namespace are not in the Mediawiki API.)
• Allow api queries about statistics from the past, using edit histories to count pages/edits/active editors (maybe expensive for their wiki, but having historical data would be brilliant, and collecting historical data could be spread out to ease strain if it's an issue).
