Talk:Traditio
From WikiApiary, monitoring the MediaWiki universe
Should be named Traditio?
Should this wikis pagename just be Traditio instead of the URL? Thingles (talk) 01:24, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
- Perhaps.

Property pages
Looks like the number of property pages reported was twice the real one, and now returned to normal. Perhaps, it should be halved retroactively?
Database
Does Traditio's API really report two database types after the migration to MariaDB yesterday?

- Alex, this is a byproduct of something I added to WikiApiary to deal with wikifarms. WikiApiary now treats the database as a multiproperty value. User:Bumble Bee actually records in a work table every answer the website returns for this, and then provides all answers that have been given in the last 2 weeks ordered by priority. You can see the full thread on it as well. This keeps wikifarms that have multiple database versions from flapping and changing database on every call. It does have the affect that all values for this field that have been seen in the last 2 weeks are reported, and then they will drop off when the site doesn't report that for 2 weeks. You can see this on WikiApiary as well, showing that I upgraded MariaDB from 5.5.30 to 5.5.31. Hope that answers your question. I also added this to the FAQ. 🐝 thingles (talk) 19:38, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
Just curious
What are audit, curation and demotion about?

- Hello! I added this information to WikiApiary:FAQ. I hope that helps clarify. 🐝 thingles (talk) 02:15, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
Query count
fell to zero on February 6th, which is not the case.
Alexander Mashintalk 11:34, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
Property count
Also, Property:Has property count and the corresponding graph show different figures: about 497 thousand and 509 thousand respectively. The latter is up-to-date.

Dark web
Perhaps, separate properties for sitess' URLs in Tor and I2P webs would be useful? Or URL could be stored in records of (protocol, URL) type, one per protocol? Or Has URL should be made a multi-value property? ATM, Traditio has several legitimate addresses: https://traditio.wiki, http://traditio.wiki, http://traditio-ru.org, http://traditio.ru, http://traditio3trziwpn.onion, http://wkpjjloylf6jopu2itgpktr45t2xvpjijxilxd5tq4i7wkqgwhhq.b32.i2p and http://traditio.i2p.

Statistics from MediaWiki 1.34
It seems that Jobs count and Property count are not upgraded (as far as the graphs show) since early February, which is when Traditio was upgraded to MediaWiki 1.34.
