History
NationStates player "Charlotte Ryberg" installed NSindex on outmoded website Amaroussi.com on 8 February 2013, in response to serious problems on Goobergunch's NSwiki.net (not to be confused with Afforess' direct successor). It was controversial for its tough web spider regime, largely due to someone infringing on one of the friend's railway photos.
Data dumps
There is a second data dump, created directly through MediaWiki’s data dump maintenance scripts.
Remove NSindex
NSindex is an unofficial NationStates encyclopaedia created by Charlotte Ryberg, the webmaster of Amaroussi.com. Unfortunately the Wiki isn't quite ready yet, so the webmaster has opted to limit data collection for now. - User:Amaroussi
The webmaster did not give authorisation for crawling because of the robots.txt directive (http://amaroussi.com/robots.txt):
- User-agent: *
- Disallow: /
The bot was not given specific instructions at time of crawling, meaning that the above rule should have applied to them.
Restore NSindex
NSindex is an unofficial NationStates encyclopaedia created by Charlotte Ryberg, now with its own domain, I accidentally slip up over robots.txt in WikiApriary back in the days when we were beta and that was the same time when someone was stealing my friend's photos on Flickr, and I am sorry if you thought I was rude.

Diagnose NSindex
Hi, while you investigate why the Bumble bees are not recognising HTTPS only wikis, I have temporarily enabled HTTP Classic for the API via htaccess. --Marianian (talk) 20:40, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- I am not sure if BumbleBee is the problem. There are heaps of https only wikis here without running into a problem, so I guess it may be an issue with your local configuration, at least that's what I interpreted from the results I googled about the error message given. --[[kgh]] (talk) 13:43, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
