The Wikimedia Beta Cluster, commonly referred to as merely Beta Cluster, is a small wiki farm of test wiki running the latest alpha version of MediaWiki (MW) for MediaWiki developers. Sometimes incorrectly called 'Beta labs', the WMF Beta Cluster is maintained by Wikimedia Release Engineering. Beta Cluster is not intended for research or other serious use of content. The Beta Cluster is a functional, production-like environment in the Cloud VPS that is suitable for final-stage testing of new features. It runs off git master, and has its MediaWiki core and extensions code updated about every ten minutes.
